The MERTECH P8S is a modification of the popular P8 model designed to read prices and information about products using a barcode. Letter S in the name it means Standard that is, the basic configuration of the device with a standard Henex scanner, which is installed by default. If necessary, the P8S model can be retrofitted with more powerful scanners with different resolution levels.

The device is equipped with a 2D image scanner that allows fast and accurate recognition of both linear and two-dimensional barcodes. This makes it easy for the P8S to scan even damaged or faded labels. The information received is instantly displayed on a bright 8-inch touchscreen.

The case is made in black, has a modern design and vandal—proof design made of durable materials (plastic + polycarbonate), is resistant to dust and moisture - protection class IP54. Its compact size and elegant appearance make it easy to fit the device into the interior of any sales area.
