The MERTECH T8900 is an embedded barcode scanner. It is designed to read 2D and 1D codes. The device can be integrated into a work area or mounted on a table. A wired connection is used to connect to the database.

Technical specifications

The body of the model is made of plastic and polycarbonate (ABC + PC). The body shape is rectangular, the color of the panels is black. Dimensions: 143*119*67 mm. The device weighs 209 grams. Protection against falling from a level of 150 cm is provided. Enclosure protection level against dust and humidity: IP54.

Advantages of the model

The MERTECH T8900 barcode scanner is designed specifically to work in the Honest SIGN system and alcohol accounting according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. It recognizes all known barcodes, including the DataMatrix code, which is used for labeling products. The labels are scanned using SUPERLEAD technology.

The reader uses 2D Image technology. It photographs labels and recognizes codes using the built-in program. This model has a 617K red LED backlight. Thanks to the backlight, clearer photos are obtained, and recognition is faster.

The device recognizes damaged and indistinct labels. Easily reads small barcodes from cigarette packages. The glare film is not an obstacle to scanning. The reader recognizes data from screens and other complex surfaces.
