The MERTECH C-4 banknote counter is designed for small and medium businesses. It quickly counts paper money and works with currencies of different countries. During counting, banknotes are automatically checked for authenticity. MERTECH C-4 allows fast counting of big stacks of banknotes.

Design description

The user can set the speed of counting. Four operating modes are available: 800; 1200; 1600; 1900 banknotes per minute. Even at the highest speed, the device is gentle with banknotes. However, for counting old banknotes we advise to choose the slow mode.

The result of counting is displayed on the informative LCD screen. The screen displays the number of banknotes, information on counterfeits and possible errors. The display also shows active detections.

Fuzzy Logic function is responsible for detection of counterfeit money. It works when recalculating currencies of different countries. After analyzing the first three banknotes, the system builds a mathematical model, according to which it checks the rest of the money from the pack.
