The MERTECH C-50 mini handheld meter is designed for on-the-go transactions. This small device can be put into the glove compartment of the car. The miniature detector recognizes currencies of different countries (rubles, dollars, euros). The model comes in two variants: with battery or with mains power.

During counting money is checked for authenticity. Three detections are used for verification:

• Optical paper density.
• Length and width of the banknote.

Detections are performed automatically. The result does not depend on human factor. The result of counting and analysis is displayed on the LED screen. If the system detects a suspicious banknote, it will give a sound and light signal. If counting errors are suspected, this will be reflected on the scoreboard.
