The MERTECH TERRA NOVA TLP300 printer is designed for thermal printing of labels and receipts. It can print on paper, textile, synthetic tapes, sticky labels, receipt thermal tape and labels. This is a model with a modern mechanism, an improved motherboard, a practical design and compact dimensions. It differs from the TLP100 model by the increased ribbon length (300 m instead of 100 m).

Advantages of the model

The NOVA TLP300 thermal printer from MERTECH has many advantages:

  1. The print speed is 127 mm/sec. The extension can be configured in the range of 203 DPI.
  2. The system board supports printing one-dimensional and two-dimensional barcodes (PDF417 and QR code).
  3. The Easy Load function allows you to change ribbon or cash register in 10 seconds.
  4. There are 3 interfaces available for connection to the POS system: USB, Ethernet, RS-232C.
  5. Functionality: up to 10,000 receipts and labels per shift.
  6. Meets the requirements of the FGIS, USAIS and the Honest SIGN system.
  7. Low noise level: up to 50 decibels (no louder than a voice).

An intelligent system board is installed inside. The device supports two protocols for thermal printing: Zebra's ZPL protocol and TSC's TSPL protocol. The model is compatible with the BARTENDER program. This is an American printing management software. The software was created by Seagull Scientific.

Technical specifications

The NOVA TLP300 stationary printer has small dimensions. The length of the model is 285 mm, width 226 mm, height 171 mm. The printer will not take up much space on the table. The model is suitable for any business area. It is used in sales halls, warehouses and offices, pharmaceutical enterprises.

The device is equipped with 4 sensors:

  1. Fixed transmission.
  2. Adjustable reflective.
  3. Tape termination control.
  4. Thermal head position control.

If the sensor registers an error, a light and sound indication is triggered. The MERTECH TERRA NOVA TLP300 prints labels and receipts 15-1200 mm long and 108 mm wide. The maximum ribbon length is 300 meters.

Different materials are suitable for printing. It can be printed on labels with a gap, a hole with a black mark. Use a ribbon based on resin, wax, or a mixture of materials. But the print quality depends not only on the device, but also on the chosen basis.

Equipment

The kit includes the printer itself, instructions and warranty card, label tape and ribbon. Before starting work, you need to install the drivers from the service site. After installing the drivers, you can connect the device to the POS system, change its settings, and set the appearance of receipts and labels.
