The M-ER 221 F Install model is one of the thinnest embedded electronic scales available on the market. They are built into cash boxes or tables. This model can also be used as a separate device. Weighing range: from 40 grams to 15 kilograms.

Design features

The case is made of reliable metal. The platform is made of food grade stainless steel. Case dimensions: 330*320*80 mm. Platform size: 330*320 mm. The load cell has an OIML certificate. On the side panel there is an LED display, reset buttons and containers. These elements duplicate the software functionality of the scales. Since the scales are embedded, the main functionality is laid down at the software level.

The M-ER 221 F Install scales have several connection interfaces. The RS-232 interface can be used to connect to the POS system.

Electronics and software

The scales are synchronized with the computer via the CAS-M and POS-2M protocols. The device supports the 1C system and most online sales registers. Drivers for synchronization can be downloaded for free on the manufacturer's website.

The device can sync with OPOS and JavaPOS. The electronics are compatible with Windows and Linux OC. Old versions of Windows are supported: 7, 8, XP. To work with these operating systems, you need a virtual com port driver. It can be found on the manufacturer's website in the "Download" tab.

No driver is required to work with Windows 10. The connection to Linux is made via cdc_acm. This is a standard module that automatically loads when you connect the scales to Ubuntu.
